I remember the first time I met Spider (David). It was at Moberley Sports Hall where I had gone to take part in basketball practice (introduced to the sport by a mutual friend - James Markham). I recall being nervous and in awe of watching the team practice as I wasn't any good yet. I think I was around 18 years old. I recall watching David, who was in street clothes, taking shots on a side basket and making the majority of them. But what amazed me and made think "WOW" way back then was I watched him take the basketball, dribble to the basket and dunk it... Nothing amazing about that you may say... except not only was he wearing jeans and a t-shirt, he also was wearing a pair of timberlands... LOL. I couldn't believe it. I was introduced to him a little while after that and basketball is where we bonded initially. Little did we know then that we would be an integral part and mainstay of each other's lives for the next 30 years... R.I.E.P. my brother from another mother. Miss you everyday
